it really does pain me to see nobody talking about these episodes. i guess the Jdub version has been around for so many years now that this English dub just isn't attracting much attention. :(

I recently finished watching the entire series to date, the special episodes and the movie(s). Then I wanted to start from the beginning again, Remembering that they recently started the English dub, I decided to check this out.
Maybe it's not so much that folks aren't talking about it than it is people casually going through this deeply memorable slice-of-life show (now in English!) ^_^

yup, it took me years to catch up with it all in Jdub... what was it... like six seasons, five-ish... then four or five movies... 3 OVA specials/multiple episodes' of storyline put into one 'episode'... mhm it is a fairly long and 'chill' franchise... except for the harrowing 'holy crap how's he going to get out of this one!' moments now and again.

then of course the unanswered questions about his gramma's 'beau' and his dad's life and whom his mom even was... and exactly how Mrs. Fujiwara is related to him... but her husband is the one who heard about him at that funeral for an old friend of Mr. Fujiwara...

:D it is a fun franchise but... :D it does leave a few big BIG gaps in the storylines!
